3. Company History.
1912
The company was founded in 1912, nearly a century ago, originally trading as A Levy & Sons and rebranded in 1997 as Blue Inc to cater for the young, fashion savvy male, looking for the hottest looks.
2006
Following the acquisition of the business in 2006 the company has rapidly expanded the Blue Inc brand and chain of stores across the UK and now numbers 82 stores and growing strongly.
2009 and Beyond
We have recently re-launched:
- Our web site
- Signed an International franchise deal to open stores across the Middle East
- Launched selected ladies wear departments, "Blue Inc Woman," coming online soon!
- Introduced a new store design with leading designers, Dalziel + Pow, following our re-launch in Oxford Street in November 2008 - attended by Katie Price (Jordan).
- Launched a co-sponsorship deal with Club18-30 for the Summer 2009 season.
